MURBY, John "Jack" Charles - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our father, John "Jack" Charles Murby of Aurora.
He passed away peacefully, at Humber River Hospital on April 11, 2023, at the age of 83.
Jack was the beloved husband to Lela Murby (Johnson); and the best father one could ask for to James Murby (Beth) and Kimberly Murby.
He was a very involved, fun-loving and playful Papa to Cierra File-Murby (Jeremy), Jacob Eikeland, Paige File-Murby (Jamie) and Emily Eikeland (Ethan).
Jack was a constant support in our families. Jack was a hardworking, loyal son to the late James and Margaret Murby; and brother to the late Robert Murby (Beverley), late Helen McLellan (Don) and Joanne Grant.
He worked on his family duck farm all of his life leading up to his retirement. He enjoyed long weekends at the cottage, relaxing and fishing, but mostly enjoyed spending his summer days puttering around the yard, enjoying his pool with family and indulging in nice meals.
You are forever in our hearts. We love you dad/papa.
There will be a private, family celebration of his fabulous life.
