DeGIORGIO, Maria Caterina - Maria Caterina DeGiorgio was born on February 19, 1933, in Simbario, Vibo Valentia, Calabria, Italy, and passed away, on April 21, 2023, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 90 years young.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 70 years, Vincenzo.
Loving mother of Nick (Linda), Vince (Kris), and Lisa Vescio (Fernando).
Maria is the cherished nonna to her 9 grandchildren and loving bisnonna to her 11 great-grandchildren.
She will be forever remembered, loved and missed by her sister, Angela; brothers, Rocco (Rosina) and Benito (Franchina); her nieces, nephews and many family and friends in Toronto, Italy and Florida.
In memory of Maria Caterina, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Family and friends may Visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W., on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., St. Clare Church at 1118 St. Clair Ave. W. Entombment to follow.
