REYNOLDS, Beverley Anne  -

1932 – 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverley, on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

An incredibly special woman, the beloved wife of Dr. William John (Jack) Reynolds (deceased) of 48 years.

She was dearly loved by her children, David (Charlene), Paul (deceased), and Anne Finnigan (Chris).

Loving grandmother to Angus, Rachel, Fiona and Matthew.

She is survived by her brother, Gary Morton (Shirley), and sisters, Joyce Beaven (Robert, deceased) and Diane Morton.

Born in the High Park area, Bev trained as a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton and John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

She began her nursing career at the Toronto Western Hospital, ultimately working as head nurse in the operating room, where she met her husband, Jack.

Bev went on to give much of her time as a volunteer at organizations including neighborhood public schools, the Gardiner Museum and St. Andrew's Out of the Cold. She was an avid reader and a member of several book clubs. She enjoyed music and she and Jack were patrons of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Canadian Opera Company.

Beverley was a positive, supportive and loving person and her family meant the world to her. She will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Beverley's Life is to be held on Wednesday, May 10th, 2 p.m., at St. Andrews Church, 73 Simcoe Street, Toronto.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the St. Andrew's Church Out of the Cold Program.
