SALADZIAK, Maria - Peacefully, in her sleep, at her home which she loved, on April 24, 2023, at the age of 88.
Maria fought a courageous and long-fought battle with diabetes, resulting in blindness.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph (Uncle Joe); mother to Edward, Richard and his wife, Sandra. Grandmother to Joseph, Stephanie and Christina.
The family would like to thank and express their gratitude to the kind and compassionate health care team that felt like family. Jadwiga Siti, Ellah, Natalia Luba, Tanya Angels and Dr. Fzinberg, sent from heaven.
Special thanks to Aunt Stasia for her prayers, and the kind neighbours for their friendship and support.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Prayers 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Casimir Catholic Church, 156 Roncesvalles Ave., Toronto, on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 10 a.m.
