VEER, Oie (nee KINDLAM) - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news that our beloved Oie Veer died on May 2, 2023, at the age of 89, in Toronto.
She was at home, in peace, and in the love and company of her family.
It had become a difficult journey with illness, and so there is some comfort in this release, for Oie, but never for a moment does that ease the sorrow of saying goodbye.
Predeceased in 2008 by her beloved husband, Vaino; she is survived by her devoted children, Paul and Tiina (David); sisters, Valve and Leida; sisters-in-law, Malle and Liina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born in 1933 to Alvine and Eduard Kindlam in Einby, Estonia, Oie was the youngest of 6 siblings, predeceased by 3: Maimu, Leonore, and Olev. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations can either be made to the Canadian Lung Association; or to the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic Fund at UHN.
Oie was a gentle soul whose kindness touched all whom she knew and met.
She will be dearly missed.
