NOVOKMET, Kate "Kay" (nee RUKAVINA)   -  It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving mother, Kay (Kate) Novokmet, on Friday, May 19, 2023.

Kay was known for her infectious smile, love of life and her positive disposition.

She was loving, caring, generous, feisty and kind. Kay loved to bake, she loved to dance, she had a "joie de vivre."

Kay was born December 16, 1931, and was predeceased (1989) by her husband, George Novokmet. She leaves behind a large and loving family, including her beloved children, Janet (Dan) Cesana, Roslynn and Larrie Elieff, and Stephen and Nancy Novokmet; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very special woman, loved by all, and will forever be in everyone's hearts.

Our sincere thanks to the staff at Chartwell Waterford Memory Care and to the caregivers from Healing Hearts, with special acknowledgement to Susan and Irene for their exceptional care.

Memorial visitation on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., with a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. and inurnment to follow.
