RAYNER, Carmen - It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we annouce the passing of Carmen Mercia Gwendolyn, on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
Beloved wife of Robert Rayner for over 66 years.
Loving mother of Ransford (Susan), Rointon (Marietta), and Roschelle (Chandike).
Devoted Nana to Rodney (Shilpa), Cameron, Ramone (Patricia), Chadwick (Michelle), Calvin (Taylor), Raquel and Clayton. Great-grandmother to Ricky, Rayaa, Mackenzie, Jax and Aria.
Carmen will be sadly missed by her many relatives and friends.
"Those we love do not go away, they walk beside us EVERY DAY. Not seen, not heard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear". Safely in the hands of the Lord.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Centre, 50 Overlea Blvd., Toronto. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 10:15 a.m. at St. Edith Stein Catholic Church, 16 Thorncliffe Park Dr., Toronto. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
