Papke DonnaPAPKE, Donna (Dhonnie) Jean   -  After a courageous fight against cancer, Donna Jean "Dhonnie" Papke peacefully, passed away, on September 5, 2023, at the age of 64, with her beloved daughter by her side.

Dhonnie will be deeply missed by so many from all over the globe due to all the lifelong friends she made at her home away from home, Aruba.

She spent as much of the winter there as she could and when not, she found solace in her personally curated Aruba-inspired condominium in Port Credit, Mississauga.

Dhonnie loved being a mother more than anything and in her final year of life, she found so much joy in knowing she was going to be a grammy.

She will be remembered for her big heart and bright personality that matched her colourful wardrobe, nails, and lipstick.

She was great at telling stories and could always make others laugh on the spot.

She was also an amazing listener. Dhonnie is survived by her two daughters, Jade Di Marco and Shay Papke; her sons-in-law, Josh Di Marco and Kyle Edick; her new granddaughter, Abigail Di Marco; her companion, Shawn Gilchrist; her ex-husband, Dale Papke (wife Wendy); three siblings; and a host of family and friends.

A Celebration of Dhonnie's Life will be held on October 29, 2023. More details will be forwarded to loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
