Hay WilliamHAY, William Cameron   -  Sadly, William Cameron Hay passed away early Sunday morning on September 10, 2023, at the age of 90.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 69 years, Eleanor; daughter, Janis; son-in-law, Dan; and four-legged pal, Moose.

William was born in Glasgow, Scotland.

He served in the RAF as a wireless operator and then he and Eleanor moved to Canada.

He worked as a draftsman for many years, enjoyed playing golf, and watching soccer matches.

He is survived by his sister, Margaret, with whom he enjoyed many long distance calls.

He will be missed by relatives and extended family members both in Canada and in Great Britain.

The family would like to thank all those people who smiled, gave their time and showed compassion particularly over the last few years.

To honour William's wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation.

Please consider a donation to the Scott Mission on his behalf.
