REYNOLDS, Donald Peter  - 85, died peacefully, surrounded by family, in his home in Toronto on Wednesday, October 18th.

Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Peter had a 40 year career as a broadcast journalist, producer and reporter with CBC, CTV and the BBC.

His work took him to over 55 countries.

A gentle man with a curious mind, Peter had a life long passion for telling the stories of people and groups neglected by traditional media. He created the Disability Network and Silent News for CBC to give a voice to those stories.

A memorial will be held this Saturday, October 21st at 1:00 p.m. at the Toronto Necropolis Cemetery, 200 Winchester Street.

Peter is survived by his wife Liset, his son and daughter-in-law Peter and Katherine, his sister Sharon and his grandson Griffin.
