MARTIN, Pearl Marjory (Karahkwentha)  - Born on May 16, 1925 in Oka, Quebec and peacefully passed away in her sleep at Lakeridge Hospital in Ajax on October 10, 2017 at the age of 92.

Loving mother to Thomas Allan Martin Thomas (predeceased) and his wife Stella.

Cherished grandmother to Paul Martin and Laurie-Ann and loving great-grandmother to Cassandra and Adam.

Pearl was predeceased by her parents Tom Martin and Margaret (DeCaire) Martin and her siblings Ella Evelyn, Eugene Thomas, Dorothy Margaret, Mary Dolorus and Joseph Andrew and longtime dear friend Frank Wilson.

Pearl is a proud Shingwauk Residential School alumnus and retired employee of Drug Trading Ltd. for over 42 years. She was a graduate from Success Business College where she earned several certificates and later continued her career at Distributel Communications.

Pearl took great pride in her many years of volunteer work at The Council Fire Aboriginal Centre. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Stephen G. Holzapfel and Nurse Jane McLeod of Women's College Hospital Family Practice Health Centre.

Memorial service will be held at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Rd, Scarborough, on Saturday, October 28th at 11 a.m.
