TRELOAR, Jennifer Ann  - October 7, 1952 - October 22, 2017

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden loss and unexpected passing of our beloved Jenny. Predeceased by her loving husband, Richard Woods (2014) and her brother James Treloar (2010) and survived by her younger sister, Mary Treloar and cousin, Bill Treloar.

Jennifer's adored and cherished son Grant Woods and her nieces, Aislinn and Kiera and nephew Ross were all her pride and joy. Her sister-in-law, Fiona Treloar, was deeply loved.

Her passing leaves an enormous void in their lives. Jennifer also had a wide circle of close friends who are devastated by her loss. Jennifer was born in London, Ontario in 1952. The daughter of Beryl, a Graduate of University of Toronto and James, an Engineer. Jennifer received her undergraduate degree at University of Western Ontario and her law degree at McGill University.

She practiced law for almost 40 years as a Family Lawyer in Mississauga. She has been included on the Best Lawyers in Canada list every year since 2008. Jennifer was dedicated to her clients, always striving to provide the best advice and achieve the best possible result on each file.

She was fair minded, always civil and decent and respected by her peers and the Judges she appeared before. Jennifer had a diverse range of personal interests and skills: gourmet cooking, ballroom dancing, golf, skiing, the arts, fashion and travel. In recent summers, she loved and embraced her time with family and friends at her cottage on Gloucester Pool. Everyone will have their own special memories of Jennifer. To her small, but tightly knit family, she was the thread that bound them together with her strength, pride and love.

Jennifer's life will be celebrated on Sunday, October 29th at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow at 4:00 p.m. There will also be a visitation on Saturday, October 28th from 6 – 8 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a charity of your choice .
