WARSH, Marvin Martin - On Saturday, October 28, 2017, in his 97th year, at St. Michael's Hospital.
His life was full, tumultuous and fulfilling.
In 1940, while a student at Queen's University, he voluntarily joined the RAF.
He was posted to England and served with distinction as Flying Officer and was honoured with six medals.
He was strong-willed, generous and fearless throughout his well-lived, long years.
He loved theatre, art, golf, dining, shopping, travelling and his good friend, Evelyn Himel.
He leaves his three children, Beverly Basen, Robert Warsh and Douglas Warsh and four grandchildren, Jennifer Basen, Allison Basen, Carolyn Warsh and Matthew Warsh.
Recently, he was very proud and happy to see his first beautiful great-grandson, Austen, son of Sheera and Matthew Warsh. A graveside funeral will be held. For details, call Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel.
