HANNA, Pamela Jane (nee BUCHAN)  - October 7, 1928 – October 28, 2017

We will bid farewell to our beloved Mom, Granny and friend on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. John's York Mills Anglican Church, 19 Don Ridge Dr., Toronto – Pam and Jack's place of worship for 70 years.

Born in Toronto to John and Dudley Buchan, Pam attended Whitney P.S., Havergal College and Lawrence Park Collegiate, where she made lifelong, treasured friendships.

Predeceased by her brother John Sydney Buchan and her husband and best friend of 65 years, Jack, with whom she shared a wonderful life travelling and building their wine business through 5 decades. But it was Lake of Bays she loved most. Her great-grandfather built a cottage at Clovelly Point on Lake of Bays in the early 1920s where she spent every summer of her life – she and Jack built next door in the early 1960s.

It was their cherished home where Pam celebrated her 89th birthday, a few weeks ago. Pam is survived by sons Andy (Mary) and Ian (Marit), grandchildren Katriona (Dave Mitchell), Maggie (Bob Schwab), Andrew, Matthew (Nicole Hanna) and Rachel (Patrick McRorie) and great-grandchildren James, Robbie, Penny, Jack, Sam and Jakob and by her much loved sister Molly Stoloff of Cape Cod.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The John & Pamela Hanna Scholarship at George Brown College.
