GAILIS, Sheena Jean - The family sadly announces the peaceful passing of Sheena Jean Gailis on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at North York General Hospital in her 89th year.
Loving sister-in-law of Miriam McGowan. Loving aunt of Marilena McGowan and Duncan and his wife Ana Patricia.
Adored and cherished great-aunt of Robert and Thomas Szollosi; and, Emma, Sophia and Ethan McGowan.
Sheena will also be fondly remembered by all of her family in New Zealand. Special gratitude to her neighbour Ida Busby and the staff at Canterbury Place. She now joins her husband Ziedonis Gailis in eternal life, as well as her dear brothers and sister.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
