WILLIAMS, Major Jean Elizabeth (nee Bond)  - Promoted to Glory on Monday, October 30, 2017 at The Scarborough Hospital, Birchmount Campus in her 93rd year.

Predeceased by her husband, Captain Clifford Williams (1968).

Lovingly remembered by her 3 daughters: Majors Donna and Eric Bond of Oshawa, Carol and Ed Fisher of Belleville, and Joy Groulx of Toronto.

Cherished Grandma to 8 grandchildren and GG to 12 great-grandchildren.

Dearest friend Lt. Col. Betty Barnum, who was her caregiver. Jean was a godly woman of conviction and lived with a strong faith and a strong work ethic.

Together with Cliff, Jean shared ministry in The Salvation Army in Oakville, Winnipeg and Ottawa. She continued her ministry at the Training College, as a Chaplain and an Executive Director. In her retirement she was the first Director of Volunteers at the newly opened Scarborough Grace Hospital for 5 years.

Funeral Service will be held at The Salvation Army Agincourt Community Church (3080 Birchmount Road) on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11 a.m., with Visitation from 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army Agincourt Community Church.
