GAYNE, John (Jack), CA, FCA - Peacefully in his 96th year on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
Survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Dolly (Lillian) Gayne.
Loving father and father-in-law of Shelley and David French, Larry and Laurie and Paul and Stephanie Gayne.
Cherished grandfather of Lee, Carrie, David, Stacey and Ethan. Great-grandfather of Sofie Rose, Lillian, Jack, Jacobi, Skyler and Tyson.
Dear brother of the late Sam, Isaac, Joe, Fay, Adelle and Clara. Will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. He worked as a Chartered Accountant for over 65 years.
A funeral service will be held at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave. West, on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Shiva: 2 Josephine Rd., Toronto. Shiva visits Wednesday following the interment up to 9:00 p.m., Thursday 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Evening services Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 p.m.
