SINGH, Asha Misra  - In loving memory of Asha Misra Singh, age 71, of Toronto, Ontario, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2017, after a long struggle with ailing health.

She was born on October 24, 1946 in New Delhi, India to Shanti and Dwarka Das Misra.

She was a caring wife to her loving husband, Ujjagar Singh, and served the community of Toronto as a Registered Nurse for nearly 37 years, most recently at Toronto Western Hospital, before retiring.

A deeply spiritual woman, she served God in her own selfless way. Asha also had a childlike love of everything Disney, a trait that she passed on to her own children. She is survived by her husband Ujjagar, brother Avinash, sisters Suraksha and Shashi, children Amul and Purnima and grandchildren Anita, Arjun and Simran.

A special thanks to the staff and doctors at Mackenzie Health Centre for providing such loving care up until her last moments.

After a private cremation, A Commemorative Gathering will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street) on Friday, November 10th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A special farewell message will be held at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her name to the Make-a-Wish Canada www.makeawish.ca, so that they can spread her love of Disney to children who may otherwise not get the chance to experience it.
