SATO, Sugao "Sugar" - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at age 91.
Devoted wife of 67 years to George.
Loving mother of Gordon (Linda), Lorraine (Glenn Gowriluk) and Jackie Laser (Wolfgang).
Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey (Samantha Rosen), Philip (Jackie), Jonathan and Amanda.
Great-grandmother of Cooper. Sugar will be greatly missed by her surviving siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She will be remembered for her boundless energy, generous heart and extraordinary cooking skills.
Her many hobbies included bridge, poker, golf, badminton, bowling, sewing and knitting. Her family would like to thank Dr. Zive and all the nurses and staff at Dorothy Ley Hospice for their care and compassion.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 2–4 and 6–8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:15 a.m.
If friends so desire, in memory of Sugar, memorial donations made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice would be appreciated.
