TOTH, Stefanie - Born in Hungary on October 5, 1923 to parents Czigler and Katalin Jozsef.
Stefanie died peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 6, 2017.
She was in her 94th year.
She was preceded by her brothers Bela and Gyula. Stefanie escaped across the Hungarian-Austrian border alone with her two young children, Andrew and Andrea, in 1956 and then immigrated to Canada.
She is survived by her children and daughter-in-law, Ildiko, three grandchildren, Rocky, Zachary, and Maxine, and two great-grandchildren, Odin and Leif.
A Funeral Mass followed by a celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 432 Sheppard Ave., Toronto.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada if desired.
