Passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2017 at the age of 39.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her adoring husband, John Mills; her beautiful children, Sarah, Dylan and Ethan Mills, her stepson Matthew (Fiona), her grandchildren, Noah and Oliver, mother Sandra Livingstone, her father John and step-mother Laura and brothers Kris (Laurie) and Tim (Tricia).

Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends will also hold the memories of Kari close in their hearts. Kari was born in Scarborough, Ontario, September 1, 1978.

Graduating from Brock University with a Bachelor of Science and went on to obtain her Nursing Degree. She was a wonderful Nurse; genuinely caring about the people she served and offered the utmost respect and empathy. After meeting John, it was clear that he would be her life partner and soulmate.

They had 3 beautiful children together and Kari welcomed Matt as one of her own. Her children and family were the center of her universe. She loved watching them grow and develop. Not too long after, she welcomed her grandchildren that she adored very much.

She loved children and loved to teach them all kinds of things from canning to knitting to any craft imaginable. Kari had a huge heart and a smile larger than life. She devoted her life to her family and making sure they had all they could ever need or want through careful planning and balancing. Before her passing, Kari was working on obtaining a service dog to assist her son.
