Mills Kari AnneMILLS, Kari-Anne (nee STRATTON)  - September 1, 1978 - November 7, 2017

Passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2017 at the age of 39.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her adoring husband, John Mills; her beautiful children, Sarah, Dylan and Ethan Mills, her stepson Matthew (Fiona), her grandchildren, Noah and Oliver, mother Sandra Livingstone, her father John and step-mother Laura and brothers Kris (Laurie) and Tim (Tricia).

Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends will also hold the memories of Kari close in their hearts. Kari was born in Scarborough, Ontario, September 1, 1978.

Graduating from Brock University with a Bachelor of Science and went on to obtain her Nursing Degree. She was a wonderful Nurse; genuinely caring about the people she served and offered the utmost respect and empathy. After meeting John, it was clear that he would be her life partner and soulmate.

They had 3 beautiful children together and Kari welcomed Matt as one of her own. Her children and family were the center of her universe. She loved watching them grow and develop. Not too long after, she welcomed her grandchildren that she adored very much.

She loved children and loved to teach them all kinds of things from canning to knitting to any craft imaginable. Kari had a huge heart and a smile larger than life. She just loved people, enjoyed life so much and was a beautiful person both inside and out. For Kari, life didn't come without challenges. Her son was diagnosed with Autism and she took it all in stride.

She devoted her life to her family and making sure they had all they could ever need or want through careful planning and balancing. Before her passing, Kari was working on obtaining a service dog to assist her son.

Family and friends will be received at T. Little Funeral Home, 233 Main Street, Cambridge, Ontario N1R 1X2, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017, with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations to raise funds for Dylan's service dog or the GoFundMe page would be greatly appreciated.
