KURCHAK, Peter  - Passed away in his 90th year on November 14, 2017 at Toronto Grace Hospital.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 65 years Doreen (Graham) and daughters Lou Anne and Donna.

Peter was the son of Nicholas Kurchak and Elizabeth (Mnohlitney).

He was the youngest brother to Ida (Bill Slusarchuk), Mary (Peter Kuzyk) and John (Eleanor) Kurchak. He was uncle to many beloved nieces and nephews.

Peter was a kidney recipient in 2005. The Kurchak family would like to thank the donor and family as well as Dr. Carl Cardella and Theresa McKnight of the Kidney Transplant Clinic at Toronto General Hospital for taking such good care of Peter.

A special thank you to all the nurses and staff of Toronto General and Toronto Grace who cared for Peter the last few months.

Family and friends to be received at the Eglinton Chapel of the McDougall & Brown Funeral Homes, on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel, on Saturday November 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto General, Salvation Army Toronto Grace or the Princess Margaret Hospital.
