McDONAGH, Patrick Joseph  - Galway, Ireland, October 24, 1944; died Toronto, Ontario, Saturday, November 11, 2017.

Friendly and kind, Patrick ("PJ") was well-liked in his native Galway, his adopted hometown of Toronto, and the many places he lived and worked around the world.

He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle, an autodidact, a sportsman, a workhorse, a character, a gentleman, and more.

His favorite pastimes included rugby, visits with his in-laws, chatting with neighborhood dogs, sober gatherings with close friends, relaxing at home with his best friend, and, above all, playing with his cherished granddaughter, Clara.

He passed away at Kensington Hospice surrounded by his wife, Debora, his son, Sean, and his daughter-in-law, Jacqueline, who loved him dearly.

A memorial service and reception will be held at the Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Avenue, at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18th.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kensington Foundation c/o Kensington Hospice .
