EASTMAN, R.N., Ruth Marguerite (nee WILLEY)  - September 24, 1932 - November 15, 2017

Peacefully at Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga in her 86th year, on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.

Beloved wife of the late G. Vincent Eastman.

Loving mother of Mary, Tara, Greg (Jeannine), John (Sue) and Peter. Adoring Grandma of Taryn, Kerri, Mark, Alyssa, Nicole, Hannah, Quinn, Caroline, Erik, Jack, Derrick and Tristan. She will be sadly missed by her brother Dr. John Willey. Predeceased by her father John Thomas, mother Irene and sister Mary. Born in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec.

She was a much loved and respected Nurse of 24 years at Highbourne Lodge Nursing Home in Etobicoke, until retiring in 1994. Ruth always looked forward to her annual trips to Florida. She was also an avid swimmer and Blue Jay's fan.

The family is very grateful for the four outstanding years of care provided by the doctors and nurses of the William Osler, Brampton Civic Hospital dialysis care unit. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Mount Forest Holy Cross Cemetery.

A private family Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary of the Purification Roman Catholic Church in Mount Forest, Ontario. A Celebration of Life will be announced in the New Year.
