MACKENZIE, Betty Mary  - It is with great sadness that the family of Betty Mary Mackenzie (née Thompson) announces her passing on November 25, 2017, at the age of 90, in Scarborough, Ontario after a long bout with Alzheimer's disease.

Soon afterwards she joined Bell Canada where she had a very successful career holding various management roles. Betty married the late Raymond Arthur Mackenzie in 1969 and they shared a passion for boating, travelling, cooking and entertaining. Betty volunteered with Junior Achievement and ran the Kiwanis Toys for Tots program for many years.

She retired in 1987 and moved to Meaford, Ontario where she enjoyed sewing, quilting, needlepoint, making the world's best lasagna and escaping the cold by wintering in Panama City Beach, Florida.
