CHARD, Gordon "Gus"  - Passed away peacefully on November 21, 2017 in his 91st year.

Beloved husband of Alice for 65 years.

Loving father of Laurie (Philip) and the late Patricia (Pete).

Grandfather to Neal (Crystal), Tracey (Michael), Erik (Celine) and Gregory.

Great-grandfather to Maddox, Marlee, Claire and Caroline. Loving brother to Wilfred (Ines), Robert (June) and Muriel (Peter). Predeceased by sister Margaret (Walter) and brothers Donald (Pearl) and Allan (Gail). Uncle to 3 nephews and 8 nieces.

The family would like to thank Chartwell Westbury Long Term Care Residence and Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, University Health Network for the wonderful care they provided for Gus.

Friends and relatives will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, on Sunday, December 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Philip's Anglican Church, 31 St. Phillips Road, on Monday, December 4th, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Philip's Anglican Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations to Alzheimer Society and/or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
