HARRISON, Frances Muriel - December 3, 1926 – November 30, 2017
Frances was a bookkeeper for General Motors Acceptance Corp. for 30 years and in retirement a volunteer at North York General Hospital.
She travelled far and wide with her husband Edward (Roy) Harrison, often for Masonic gatherings or simply for adventure.
They met and lived in Toronto before buying a home in Thornhill and later one in Richmond Hill. Frances was born in St. Catharines, ON, to the late Walter and Gertrude Downing, who had met and married in New Brunswick. Fran was predeceased by her sister Lois Daw, brother-in-law H. Frederick Daw of Ashburn, ON, and by nephew Stephen Daw.
She is survived by her husband, nephews James Daw of Toronto and Brian Daw of Woodstock, ON, their families and their sister-in-law, Jennifer Cantello of Port Hope, ON.
