McClocklin JamesMcCLOCKLIN, James Palmer McClocklin  - April 2, 1947 - December 3, 2017

Age 70.It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Palmer McClocklin on December 3, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Jim leaves his wife Susan, stepson William (Holley), son James (Rose), his grandsons, Cole and Everett, and cousins, Caroline Allen and David McClocklin.

He is predeceased by his mother Catherine, father James and brother Clarkson.

Uncle Jim created lasting and awesome memories for his nieces and nephews: Kathy (Amir), Rob (Jenny), Patty (Tom), John (Cathy), Suzanne (Gavin), Garth, Clarkson, Cathy-Jo, Madeleine, Benjamin, Joshua, Cailyn, Gwendolyn, Owen, Addison, Abigail and Lucas and Costa.

Family, friends and associates are heartbroken by Jim's passing. He touched the lives of countless people through his acts of kindness and compassion. Jim's deep sense of empathy and his philanthropic nature produced a lifetime of helping others. Jim was known for his big heart. He was also known for his love of animals: his beloved dog, Katie never left his side, shadowing him until he died.

Jim's positive and caring nature, his zest for life, his infectious enthusiasm and his uncanny ability to calmly problem-solve- will be sorely missed by us all.

Our deepest gratitude for the love and support of Dan Brintnell, Kathy Girgis, Carolyn Gordon, Jim Herder, Bill McNeil, Barbara Pingyin, Laura Snape and his lifelong friends from St. Andrew's College and Cornell University.

Many thanks to Dr. Aaron Hansen of Princess Margaret Hospital and Dr. Philippe Toupin of Sunnybrook Hospital.
