WOOD, Ernest - Born on November 24, 1921 in Dundee, Scotland, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2017 at the age of 96.
WWII Veteran, Royal Corps of Signals, British Army, Retired Bell Canada, Founding and Honorary Life Member of Lagoon City Yacht Club.
After immigrating to Canada in 1948, he met and married the love of his life, Sheila (nee Buchan).
They were together for 60 years before Sheila passed away in 2011.
Also predeceased by his siblings, Alexander, Frank, Jessie, George and Jack. He is survived and will be missed by his sister, Ella Masterton (Dundee, Scotland).
He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews in Canada and Scotland.
Cremation has taken place and a future private family dedication will be held.
