GIAGILITSIS, Denos - Loving, inspiring and committed husband, father, papou, father-in-law, cousin, mentor and good friend to many, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, December 10, 2017.
His lifelong "partner in crime" Kathy, daughters Maria and Christina, sons-in-law Boris and Tony and grandchildren Evangelina, Constantine and Anthony miss him so much.
At the age of 80, he lived a long and happy life.
His good humour, sage advice and strong intellectual spirit inspired and supported everyone close to him.
In his final days, he repeatedly told us how happy he was with his life. His family and friends all over the world including in Canada, Greece, Germany and Australia filled his life with excitement, love and laughter.
A brief visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at St. Demetrios Church at 30 Thorncliffe Park Drive in Toronto. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.
Following the funeral service, we will proceed to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Denos was a strong supporter of the Greek Community of Toronto and was extremely grateful for the compassionate medical care he received over the years at St. Michael's Hospital and Mt. Sinai Hospital.
Donations are welcome in his memory.
