VERYHA, Luba - Luba left us peacefully and suddenly on December 12, 2017 at the age of 62.
Luba was a dedicated aunt to her four nephews Matthew, Alexander, Julian and Daniel; and her one very special niece Larissa.
She also leaves behind her bereaved siblings Andrew, Peter and Olena, her sister-in-law Irene and her mother Oksana Veryha.
Luba's great passions were local heritage, travel, genealogy and fictional literature.
Her career spanned a variety of roles and responsibilities in financial services. Luba will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed for her generosity of spirit and loyalty to both close friends and family members.
Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St., on Friday, December 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a memorial service at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday 10 a.m. December 16th at All Saints Chapel - St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery in Oakville, followed by interment at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto would be appreciated.
