HOWARD, Roy Lorne  - March 19, 1933 - December 13, 2017

It is with sadness the family of Lorne Howard announce his peaceful passing after a valiant battle with cancer. Lovingly remembered by his sister Wanita, children Debra, Darlene, Wayne, Shari and Jayson and their children Lisa, Adam, Andrew, Raymond and Cam.

Beloved partner of Margaret Drake, fondly remembered by her children Trish and Trevor and their families.

Adored Papa to Shelby and Alex who were always there for him, especially during his final months. After 39 years with the Toronto School Board Lorne retired as the Chief Caretaker.

Lorne loved fishing, hunting, golfing and riding on the Shrine Hillbilly Float and is fondly remembered by his many friends that he shared these activities with.

Lorne was a member of the Masonic Lodge Number 532 G.R.C. for 56 years and a Shriner almost 20 years.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on January 13, 2018 from 12 – 3 p.m. at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 606, 1555 Bayly St., Pickering.
