HUMPHRIES, Isabelle  - Passed away peacefully and at ease in the early hours of Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Revera Leaside Retirement Residence.

She was surrounded by her family and by people who loved her.

She was the daughter of Harry and Eliza Andrews, from Wesleyville, Newfoundland and is survived by one of her 8 siblings, Pearl Eggleston.

She was the beloved wife of the late Harold E. Humphries (2009) and cherished mother of Karuna-Lynn, Heather and Hope (Kevin). She was an adored grandmother of her two grandchildren, Eliza and Emma Brandy and her grand-dog Sam.

She will best be remembered for her dedication to her family, her magnificent smile, delicious apple crisp and peanut butter cookies and for the immense love and generosity she extended to all that came across her path.

The family would like to offer their heartfelt gratitude to The Tenderness Team, who cared vigilantly for Isabelle throughout her final 7-month journey with end-stage vascular dementia.

Private Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 28th at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be in the Chapel, Friday, December 29th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Caregiver Project at the Alzheimer Society, http://alz.to/get-help/ caregiver-framework/ or the Healing with Smiles Alliance.
