MOORE, Garry George  - April 25, 1944 - December 21, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Garry on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Toronto General Hospital.

Garry will be sadly missed by his wife and best friend of 39 years, Lorna.

Garry was a beloved father to Kelly (Jason), step-father to Sheila (Craig), Mark and Sandra (David) and will be missed by grandchildren Ryan, Abbigail, Charley and Theodore. He will be missed by his siblings Woodson (Patricia), Judy (Wayne), Melvin (Janet) and Blain.

Born in Flesherton, Ontario, Garry moved to Toronto at a young age and shortly thereafter started a lifelong career in sales / marketing of heavy machinery transportation and installation.

Over the years his charisma and warm personality touched many people. Despite medical challenges over the past couple years, Garry always maintained an upbeat attitude and a love of life.

Visitations will be on December 28th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel at 2900 Kingston Road with a memorial service to be held on December 29th at 11 a.m.

In honour of Garry, we request that you wear something bright as Garry loved bright colours.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
