SMITH, William  - Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, January 29, 1923 to William Smith and Margret Isabella Glenderson (Connor) Smith.

Passed away December 14, 2017.

Passed peacefully and quietly at the Erie Shore Hospice in Leamington.

Bill was surrounded by the love of his family Rick (Ellen), George (Nancy), John (Marilyn), Jan, Jean DeJonge (Kim) and Jim (Nancy).

Predeceased by his wives, Margaret Duncan, 1974 and Lorraine Fricyk, 2014.

Also predeceased by his son William, 2013 (Tina). Bill enjoyed life to the fullest and was known for his great sense of humour.

Bill had 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

During WWII, Bill was with the RAF stationed in Singapore.

Bill was an Electrician and longtime member of IBEW Local 353, Toronto. He was a proud member of the Universe Masonic Lodge 705 in Toronto and played for several years with the Rameses Shriners Drum Corps.

In his later years he enjoyed the sunshine and pleasure of Florida. Dad loved people and we all loved him.
