FARR, Christopher Douglas - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chris.
Born in Walkerton, Ontario on December 19, 1968, the son of Florence (nee Klages) and Douglas Farr, Chris passed away unexpectedly, at the age of 49, on December 24, 2017 while spending Christmas with his mother at her home in Thornbury.
In 2007 Chris was predeceased by his father whom he greatly admired.
He will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving son by his mother Florence. A dear nephew to many aunts and uncles and a cherished cousin, Chris will be missed greatly by everyone who knew him.
Chris was incredibly passionate about his family and his friendships. He was a talented technician in the Toronto Film Industry, providing excellence in the field for 25 years and was widely respected and loved by his colleagues and his friends.
He will always be remembered for his warm hugs, devilish smile and unwavering loyalty. A Celebration of Life will take place at 1 p.m., January 14, 2018 at The Golf Club at Lora Bay in Thornbury, Ontario.
As an expression of sympathy and in keeping with Chris' true love of animals, especially his beloved cat Quinn (a.k.a "Nerd"), donations would be welcomed by the Collingwood Furry Friends Animal Shelter.
