Trotman MargaretTROTMAN, Margaret (Margie) Olive (nee BROWN)  - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mum, Gran and Great-Gran, Marg.

Peacefully on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, in her 95th year.

Marg, beloved wife of the late Les, for 64 years.

Loving Mum to children: Carol de Jonge, Debbie McCabe (Dan) and David Trotman. Proud Gran to Leigh Ann (Stephen), Meredith (Brad), Michelle (Nathan), Ian (Jennifer), Alyse (Matt), Hannah and Ben. Adored GG to Hayden, Nash and Nico. Marg was born in Toronto.

She joined the St. John Ambulance during the war as nurse volunteer for 2 years in London, England. She met her future husband Les in England and began a long-distance relationship by mail. Marg returned to England to marry Les in 1950.

They immigrated to Canada and made a home in Richmond Hill. Marg worked at the Town of Richmond Hill for over 25 years then they retired to Bowmanville for over 30 years. Marg had the warmest heart, always helping others and volunteering.

She will be sadly missed for her devotion to her family, her beautiful blue eyes and her signature good bye as "Tootileedo".

A Celebration of Life is being held in Oakville, at the Harbour Banquet Centre, on Sunday, January 14th, from 1 – 4 p.m. in her honour. All family and friends are welcome.
