GESICKI, Barbara   - God called Barbara peacefully on January 5, 2018 at the age of 62 with her brother Eddy by her side.

Barbara, beloved daughter of Maria and the late Jozef, proud sister to Eddy, cherished by her dear cousins Andrew (Janka) and Florence (Ian) and was the loving aunt of Tyler and Adam.

She was a good friend to many and had a passion for drama, theatre, acting, movies, books and photography and enjoyed her work in journalism.

Barbara was someone who led by example in doing good deeds while making an effort to help others. She will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives and many friends.

Visitations will take place at the Cardinal Funeral Home, (366 Bathurst St.) on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. Friends are welcome to gather at on Saturday, January 13, 2018 starting at 9:00 a.m. prior to the Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church (1701 Bloor St. W., East of Keele St.). Interment to follow.

Donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital, Cancer Centre will be appreciated by the family.
