Kingsley JeanKINGSLEY, Jean "Sietske" (nee Huizenga) - April 3, 1930 - January 13, 2018

Passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville on Saturday, January 13, 2018 with her children by her side.

She entered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour in her 87th year.

The daughter of the late Folkert and Tjitske Huizenga (nee Van Der Meer), the family immigrated to Prince Edward County, Ontario in 1947 from the Netherlands.

Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert Hale Kingsley.

A devoted mom, she will be greatly missed by her children Larry (Diana) of Hampton, ON, Gary (Vera) of Regina, SK., Linda (Clark) of Baileboro, ON, Dennis (Patti) of Oshawa, ON, David (Denise) of Sussex, NB, Randy (Vicki) of Harriston, ON, Roberta (Paul) of Marietta, GA, Shelley of Courtice, ON.

Grandma (Nana) loved and cherished her 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

She is survived by her brothers John (Barb), Harman (Rita), and Frank (Linda) Huizenga of Prince Edward County.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484) on Wednesday, January 17th, from 6 - 9 pm and on Thursday, January 18th, from 12:30 - 2 pm. ACelebration of Life service will held in the chapel at 2 pm., with reception to follow. Internment will take place at Orono Cemetery in the spring.
