SZAFRANSKI, Nicholas Steven - Peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Trillium Mississauga Hospital at age 89.
Dear loving husband of the late Jean (2008).
Much loved father to Michael and his wife Trish, Steven and his wife Kim, Ann and her husband Brian MacDougall and Peter and his girlfriend Julie.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren Michelle, Alec, Michael, Thomas, great-granddaughter Alexis, brother Walter and his wife Frances and sister Nadia.
Son of the late Paul and Jean Szafranski. Nicholas was the former 30 year owner of Jean's Variety Store on 40th Street.
Visitation will take place at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. Panakhyda Friday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday 10:30 a.m. at The Dormition of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church (St. Mary's), 3625 Cawthra Rd., Mississauga.
The family would like to thank the staff at 2B2 Surgery for their excellent care and compassion.
