TAVERNER, Gordon - Passed away peacefully at Mississauga's Trillium Health Partners – Mississauga Hospital on January 23, 2018 surrounded by family.
Beloved husband of 57 years to Avila and loving father to Lori (Frank), Michael (Susan) and Paul (Lisa).
Proud grandfather to Chelsea, Jillian, Lauren, Meaghan, Andrew, Christopher, Zachary, Joshua, Caleb and Mattheus. Cherished great-grandfather to Nadia, Francesca and Liam.
Survived by brothers Raymond (Eileen) and Robert (Ann) Taverner.
Gordon will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Family and friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home, (420 Dundas St. East, Mississauga) on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Dominic's Church (625 Atwater Ave., Mississauga).
