SMITH, Marjorie Irene - Passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital on Sunday, January 28, 2018 with her daughter Susan by her side.
Predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Edward (2015) and sister Anna (2017).
Sadly missed by her brother Bill (Judy) and sister-in-law Alison.
Fondly remembered by her nephew John (Laura) and niece Margaret. Great-aunt to Max, Elly, Oliver, Kiera, and Connor.
Marjorie was born on January 3, 1928 in Guelph, the daughter of the late Clarence and Eleanor Pond.
Graduating from Waterloo College (now Wilfred Laurier University), Marjorie was a High School Teacher for 25 years. She was well respected and loved by her colleagues and students. Marjorie spent many years with her family on vacations in Hilton Head Island, SC and Bracebridge. Along with Edward, they were members of The Fairways at Kirrie Glen (formerly Aston Fairways) for over 30 years.
Marjorie came from a musical family and she loved to play the piano.

Cremation has taken place. At Marjorie's request, there will be a private family service.
Memorial donations may be made to Seniors Life Enhancement Centres. Private arrangements entrusted with Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel.
