WADDELL, Betty (nee FORBES) - January 16, 1933 - January 31, 2018
Mom earned her wings surrounded by love at Pioneer Elder Care St. Catharines.
Betts will be deeply missed by her daughter Deborah Morris (Jim) and son Bruce (Sue), grandchildren David Morris and Kasey Waddell, her dearest friend Bonnie Forbes her nieces, nephews and friends.
She will be welcomed by her husband of fifty years, Bruce, her parents Tom and Ivy Forbes, her brothers Tom, Bob and Don and her fun loving nursing friends. A life well lived, Betty was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, Registered Nurse and friend. She enjoyed gardening, travelling, knitting, genealogy and a glass of whiskey.
Her later journey was lived with joy and dignity with the help of Bill Falkenberg, Crystal Beach Firefighters Brian Brown, his daughter Sharaya and Jon Witkowski and his family.
Our family will always be grateful for the support of Anna Schmoll, her staff at Rose Hill Lane and the loving compassionate care mom received at Pioneer Elder Care.
Williams Funeral Services, Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 5th after 11 a.m. until service time at 12 noon.
Betty lived a life of kindness, in lieu of flowers, please perform an act of kindness in her memory.
