CURRAN, Anne Marie - Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Thursday, February 1, 2018, at the Village of Humber Heights, at the age of 73.
Proud daughter of Maurice and Irene Lodge and sister to Cathy (Jim).
Beloved wife of Robert for 48 years.
Cherished mother of Maureen (Todd) and Lisa (Greg).
Adoring Nana of Evan, Finian, Violet, Betty and Mimi. Her life was one of caring for others, both in her family and in her varied career as a social worker, ending with 15 great years as manager of the Employment and Training Centre, St. Stephen's Community House.
She went out of her way to help others whenever she saw a need and her energy and enthusiasm often worked wonders.
Thanks to Claudia, Karen, and the other home caregivers plus the many people at St. Joseph's Health Centre who helped us through a difficult last year and to the caring staff on Brule neighbourhood, LTC, Village of Humber Heights who helped her through her final days.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
If desired, remembrances may be made to Daily Bread Food Bank or to Alzheimer Society of Toronto.
