JACKSON, Eddie  - September 1, 1931 – February 2, 2018

After a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Eddie Jackson passed away in hospital in Mississauga just 74 days after his wife of 60 years, Raldine.

Eddie was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, grew up in Toronto and was the only child to John and Mary Jackson.

A kind, warm-hearted soul, Eddie modelled, guided and loved incredibly.

Not just to his immediate family, but to friends, neighbours and everyone he met. Eddie is predeceased by his wife Raldine and is survived by his daughter Jori, son Jeff, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Joanne, grandchildren Alicia (Darrin), Brandon (Mary) and Jenai and great-grandchildren Ayla, Samuel and Julianna. Eddie, Dad, Grandpa, Gida - Thank you for all that you are and have given of yourself to each one of us.

And while you will be greatly missed down here, you have inspired us all the more to the call of eternity.

A private memorial will take place in the spring. Special Thanks to each of the nurses, doctors and specialists of the Trillium Health Team, Care Partners and the Dorothy Ley Hospice for your tender love and compassion throughout this final leg of the journey.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in support of the Trillium Health Partners.
