BUTTIGNON, Valeria (nee VARGA) - Peacefully on February 12, 2018 in Etobicoke General Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband Fausto of 63 years.
Loving mother to Maira (Jim Hopmans) and Valdi (Eva). Devoted Nonna to Amanda (Michael Visca), Eva (Mohsine Ghandi), Andrea (Phil Splatt), Kristina (Dave Torres) and Michael Hopmans (Natasha).
Bisnonna to Gabriella, Anthony, Ewan, Luke and Liliana. Her brother Joe (Gloria) in Edmonton, niece and nephew. She will also be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many relatives in Italy and Hungary.
Thanks to the staff at Woodbridge Vista Care Community and Etobicoke General Hospital for their care and compassion.
Family and friends will be received at the Demarco Funeral Home, 3725 Keele St. (south of Finch Ave.), on Friday, February 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Wilfrid's Roman Catholic Church (1675 Finch Ave. W.), on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
