FORD, Reginald Augustus - March 1, 1930 – February 18, 2018
It is with sadness that the family of Reginald (Reg) Augustus Ford announces his passing on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the age of 87.
Reginald died peacefully at home. Reg leaves behind his beloved and devoted wife of 60 years Una Louise Ford; daughters Camay (Melvin), Maureen and Deborah; sons Maurice (Marion) and Richard (Sylvia); grandchildren Kaashif, Malik, Daniel and Grant; sister Corleana Smith; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends in Canada, Jamaica, United Kingdom and United States.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto General Hospital, Central East LHIN - Home and Community Care - Whitby Branch and the VHA Home Healthcare for their dedication, support and compassion.
Reg will be forever loved, admired and missed. Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, ON – Friday, February 23, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Cyprian's Anglican Church, 1080 Finch Avenue East, North York, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow service.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation or Toronto General and Western Hospital Foundation.
