YATES (DEACON), Charlotte Elaine - October 20, 1930 - April 15, 2018
Elaine passed peacefully in her sleep at Matthews House Hospice in Alliston, in her 88th year.
She retained her positivity through years of Dementia, letting loose some childlike playfulness, even after breaking her hip. A long legacy and fond memories will be cherished by her son John (Heather) and daughter Victoria.
Grandchildren Jay (Crystal), Crystol, Jessica and Jennifer (Chris) and great-grandchildren Avery, Natalie, Aden, Isabelle and Brooklyn. Sister Louise (Gord), brother Keith (Tracie) and predeceased by her sister Joyce and beloved husband of 59 years Gord.
A Celebration of Life will be held at W. John Thomas Funeral Home, Alliston, on Sunday, April 22, 2018 with visitation from 12 noon until time of service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at a later date.
Donations in Elaine's memory to Matthews House Hospice, Alliston, would be appreciated by the family, for the excellent care.
