KALLIS, Mary (nee KRISTOFF) - Passed away peacefully on April 16, 2018, in her 92 year at Trillium Health Partners – Mississauga, shortly after suffering a stroke.
Beloved wife of the late Walter Kallis.
Devoted mother of Brian, Joan (Greg) Dowell and proud grandmother of Andrea, Brett (Amanda) and Jonathan.
Adored sister of the late Olga.
She will be missed by her loving brother Mike, her wonderful nieces, nephews, their families and her dear friends. Mary's life centered around her family.
She was tremendously patient and always saw the good in others. She was happiest when she was singing, dancing and attending concerts with family and friends. Mary valued her rich traditions and Ukrainian culture that she passed on to her family.
Visitation will be held at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke, on Monday, April 23rd from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24th. Burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to Trillium Health Partners, Heart & Stroke Foundation, CNIB, The National Shevchenko Musical Ensemble or AUUC Cultural Centre.
